BVISLANDER STUDYING IN TAIWAN SEEKS COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR GRADUATE THESIS

Virgin Islander Tisa Donovan is reaching out to the community in the British Virgin Islands for help with a crucial component of her graduate studies.

Donovan, who is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Taiwan, is conducting research for her thesis on “The association of Depression, Happiness and Social Support amongst Single Mothers in the British Virgin Islands.”

To gather the necessary data, Donovan is asking for approximately 200 single mothers between the ages of 18 and 55 who are BVIslanders or belongers to complete a 15-20 minute questionnaire. The survey will assess factors such as depression, happiness, and social support among this demographic.

Those interested in participating can scan a QR code on Donovan’s flyer, which will direct them to the online questionnaire. Donovan can also be reached at the number provided for any questions.
