BVI’S TIGERQI ARCHITECTURE BY LAVINA LIBURD, ARCHITECT FEATURED IN THE WALLPAPER ARCHITECTS’ DIRECTORY 2024

TigerQi Architecture by Lavina Liburd, Architect has been listed in the Wallpaper Architects’ Directory 2024. The directory is an “annual round-up of exciting emerging architecture studios”. Wallpaper is one of the top design and architecture magazines boasting a global print circulation of over 100,000 with countless additional devotees online2.

TigerQi Architecture by Lavina Liburd Architect of the BVI is a boutique design firm with a Vision to provide elegant Contemporary Architecture to the wider Caribbean region. Over the years the firm has specialized in a contemporary design approach which embraces simplicity and minimalism, but which also respects the environment and incorporates regional building traditions. The firm works on mid-scale projects in all sectors, crafting unique and responsive leisure, corporate, residential and other spaces that go above and beyond the standard building experience.

Conceived in 2000 as an international index of emerging architectural talent, the Wallpaper Architects’ Directory is an annual listing of promising practices from across the globe. While always championing the best and most promising young studios, over the years, the project has showcased inspiring work with an emphasis on the residential realm. Now including more than 500 alumni, the Architects’ Directory is back for its 24th edition.

This year’s survey features 20 young studios, from Australia, Brazil, British Virgin Islands, Canada, China, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, India, New Zealand, Nigeria, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, Tunisia, the UK, the USA, with much promise.
