Five schools from across the Caribbean, including representatives from St. Kitts, St. Thomas, St. Croix, and the British Virgin Islands, are gearing up for an exhilarating cheerleading competition hosted by the Elmore Stoutt High School (ESHS) in Tortola.
The event is scheduled for Friday, November 1, 2024, at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex, starting at 5:30 PM.
Ms. Glennecia Samuel, the Public Relations Officer at ESHS, highlighted the significance of the event during a recent interview with 284 Media, noting the high level of enthusiasm among the participating schools as they vie for the coveted title.
Carolann Simmonds, the event coordinator, provided insight into the participating schools and the expectations for the competition. She emphasized that attendees can look forward to exciting performances showcasing the cheerleaders’ skills and dedication.
Ms. Samuel also addressed the event’s affordability and the broader benefits of cheerleading for students.
