30TH CDCC ANNIVERSARY SEES BVI ELECTED AS VICE CHAIR

The British Virgin Islands was recently elected Vice Chair of the Caribbean Development and Cooperation Committee (CDCC) at its 30th session and anniversary.

The meeting with esteemed representatives from the region was held in Trinidad and Tobago and representing the territory was BVI’s Special envoy Mr. Benito Wheatley.

He delivered remarks on behalf of the Virgin Islands.

Wheatley provided an in-depth background into the role of CDCC.

Additionally, he highlighted its importance and role in finding solutions to challenges faced by the region.
