The British Virgin Islands has recorded its first murder of 2025 following a fatal shooting in the Purcell Estate area early Wednesday morning.
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) confirmed that officers responded to reports of a shooting around 2:00 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered an unresponsive male victim at the scene. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, the victim was pronounced dead.
