Three members of His Majesty’s Loyal Opposition, Hon. Myron Walwyn, Hon. Melvin “Mitch” Turnbull, and Hon. Stacey Mather, addressed the public today during a press conference, clarifying the absence of their three fellow Opposition colleagues.
When questioned about the missing members, the trio stated that discussions are ongoing and that outreach efforts have been made.
Hon. Turnbull, who represents the Second District, confirmed that he has personally reached out to both Hon. Marlon Penn and Opposition Leader Hon. Ronnie Skelton to discuss the new political alignment within the Opposition. He reassured the public that conversations will continue in an effort to solidify cooperation among all Opposition members.
At-large Representative Hon. Stacey Mather, who received the highest number of votes in the 2023 general elections, also made it clear that the alliance remains open to all members of the Opposition, signalling an invitation for further collaboration.
