WINDY HILL PROJECT ENTERS NEXT PHASE OF IMPROVEMENTS

The Ministry of Communications and Works announced this week that it has completed a critical retaining wall project in the Windy Hill area of Carrot Bay and will soon begin reconstructing approximately 150 linear feet of roadway.

Minister for Communications and Works Kye Rymer said the project, which concluded its initial phase in December, will now move to concrete pavement reconstruction followed by an asphalt overlay to ensure a durable road surface.

The minister is requesting all motorists to exercise increased caution and strictly follow traffic signs and personnel instructions during the upcoming road works.

Specific start dates for the next phase of construction are expected in the coming weeks.
