The BVI Health Services Authority (BVIHSA) is said to be currently conducting a fire drill at the Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital this morning Monday February 17, 2025 as part of our ongoing commitment to emergency preparedness and patient safety.
This simulated emergency exercise is designed to evaluate and enhance the hospital’s response protocols in the event of a fire. Patients, staff, and visitors may hear fire alarms and see emergency response activities taking place; however, there is NO actual emergency at this time.
