ROAD WORKS IN D7 & D8 TO COMPLIMENT INCREASED AIR TRAFFIC

During a recent sitting of the House of Assembly of the Virgin Islands, Deputy Speaker Hon. Stacy Mather questioned Minister for Communications and Works Hon. Kye Rymer on ongoing road works in the seventh and eighth districts.

He sought clarity on the number of miles being resurfaced and the cost allocation.

In response, Minister for Communications and Works Hon. Kye Rymer provided details.

Additionally, Minister Rymer stated that it is the appropriate time for the development of road works as the territory is seeing an increase in air traffic.

Minister Rymer stated that the road resurfacing is part of a broader aim to improve the territory’s infrastructure.
