After months of intense competition, the stage is set for the 2024-25 BDO Primary Schools League finals across the Under-7, Under-9, and Under-12 divisions.
The championship matches will take place this Sunday, February 23, at the Greenland Football Field, with the action kicking off at 2:30 p.m. for the third-place matches, followed by the finals at 3:30 p.m.
Matchups for the Championship
- Under-7 Final: Enid Scatliffe vs. Cedar International
- Under-9 Final: Bregado Flax vs. Robinson O’Neal
- Under-12 Final: St. Georges vs. Robinson O’Neal
Each team fought hard in the semi-finals to earn their spot in the championship games.
In the Under-12 semis, St. Georges secured their place in the final with a 3-1 victory over Ciboney, powered by goals from Triston D’Agiar, Tamnav Mura-lidharan, and Christian Campbell.
Robinson O’Neal’s semi-final clash against Ivan Dawson was a nail-biter, ending in a 1-0 win thanks to a lone goal from Joseph Procope.
In the Under-9 Division, Bregado Flax edged past Ciboney in a dramatic penalty shootout, winning 2-1 after regular time ended in a draw.
In the second Under-9 semis, Robinson O’Neal’s path to the final was more comfortable, as they dominated Cedar 3-0 with a brace from Daryl George Jr. and a goal from Nathan Daniel.
Meanwhile, in the Under-7 division, both semi-final matches were decided by penalties after ending 1-1 in regulation time. Enid Scatliffe outlasted Pelican Gate 2-1, while Cedar International edged St. Georges 3-2 to set up their final showdown.
Who will lift the trophies? All will be decided on Sunday at the Greenland Football Field from 2:30 p.m.
