The BVI Health Services Authority (BVIHSA) say they are pleased to announce the successful completion of the first phase of consultations with KPMG, as part of the development of our Strategic Plan that will shape the future of healthcare in the Virgin Islands (BVI) for the next five to eight years.
Over the past two weeks, the KPMG team met with key stakeholders, including the Ministry of Health and Social Development, the National Health Insurance (NHI) team, Financial Services representatives, BVIHSA staff, as well as residents from the West and East End communities. These discussions were instrumental in gathering valuable insights to help define the priorities and direction of healthcare services in the Territory.
The KPMG team expressed their appreciation for the support and engagement received, emphasizing the importance of community involvement in this process. They will return in March to continue their work, meeting with more communities across the Territory.
The public is being asked to look out for upcoming announcements on dates and locations for the next round of community consultations. The next round will provide another opportunity for the public to share thoughts, concerns, and ideas on matters relating to healthcare in the BVI.
