ELMORE STOUTT HIGH SCHOOL RESUMES IN-PERSON LEARNING TODAY

After a brief shift to virtual learning on Tuesday due to a water outage, Elmore Stoutt High School (ESHS) has resumed in-person instruction today, Wednesday, February 26, 2025.

In a letter to parents, Principal Vanessa Garraway confirmed that the issue had been resolved and that students were expected to return to campus for their regular classes.

“We are pleased to inform you that the water issue has been resolved, and we will resume in-person learning tomorrow, 26 February 2025. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time,” Garraway wrote.

The disruption on Tuesday, February 25, forced the school to transition to virtual instruction, with students expected to engage in live online lessons. In her initial communication, Garraway stressed that the shift was not a day off, but rather an adjustment to ensure continued learning.

“Please ensure that your child understands this is NOT a free day. We are continuing with regular instruction, just in an online format. LIVE sessions will be conducted, and students are expected to log in, participate, and engage fully in their lessons,” she stated.

Now that the water supply issue has been addressed, students are urged to arrive on time and be prepared for their school day. The principal reassured parents that should there be any further developments, updates would be provided promptly.

The Elmore Stoutt High School administration thanked parents for their cooperation during the disruption and looks forward to maintaining a smooth learning environment for all students.
