A woman died in a single-vehicle accident late Friday night in the Brewers Bay area of Tortola, the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force confirmed Saturday morning.
The fatal crash occurred after 11 p.m., according to a brief police statement. Authorities have not released the identity of the female victim.
“The circumstances surrounding the lone vehicle accident are unknown at this time,” the RVIPF said in its statement.
Police officials indicated that the investigation is ongoing and promised to provide additional information as it becomes available.
