Over the weekend on Saturday April 5th, 2025 Latwahn Stevens and Jae’Nyiah DeFreitas were crowned the Virgin Gorda Easter Festival Prince and Princess.
The pageant which kicked started the 2025 Virgin Gorda Easter Festival took place at the Catholic Community Centre and was coordinated by the Virgin Gorda Easter Festival Committee and the Virgin Gorda Pageant Committee under the theme ‘Under the Sea Adventure’.
A total of five competed, three girls and two boys.
Contestant number three for the girls Jae’Nyiah DeFreitas received prizes for Best Introduction, Creative Sportswear Best Talent, Best evening wear and most photogenic. Contestant number one Isabella Frazer also tied with Best Evening wear. Omoya Parks was contestant number two.
Contestant number one of the boys Deivani Pearce O’Neal recives prizes for Best evening wear and most photogenic.
Contestant number two for the boys Latwahn Stevens received prizes for Best Introduction, Creative Sportswear Best Talent.
In a Facebook post the Virgin Gorda Easter Festival Prince and Princess committee stated, “Their hard work, confidence, and charm earned them their royal titles, and we couldn’t be more proud!”
