MISS BVI 4TH AT MISS JAYCEES QUEEN SHOW

Miss BVI 2024, Adacia Adonis, secured an impressive fourth-place finish at the recent Miss Jaycees Queen Show.

The announcement was made by the official Miss British Virgin Islands page after receiving the official results from the event. Competing against 11 other contestants, Adonis came just short of a royal placement.

The Miss British Virgin Islands Organization announced the achievement, expressing their delight at Adonis’s success.

“Her incredible performance has made us all proud, and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s to come,” the organization stated.

Speaking to 284 Media following the announcement, Adonis expressed that she was incredibly proud to have represented the BVI by placing 4th in the regional competition.

She said, “With having less than a week to prepare and falling ill, the challenge was immense. My success is a testament to my perseverance and an incredibly supportive team. I am deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to this achievement, especially my chaperones.”

The 2024 Miss BVI also gave insights into the preparation leading to the competition.

“I often place a lot of pressure on myself, feeling the weight of expectations. A significant part of any competition is mental preparation. Believing in yourself is crucial. Though I initially doubted myself, this accomplishment on an international stage gives me perspective,” she explained.

Adonis’s strong showing at the regional pageant is seen as a promising start to her reign as Miss BVI. The competition, which featured contestants from various Caribbean nations, is known for its rigorous judging and high standards.

However, this is just the beginning for the newly crowned Miss BVI. The organization revealed that preparations are already underway for Adonis’s next big challenge – the Miss International Pageant. This global competition will see Adonis representing the BVI on an international stage, competing against contestants from around the world.

“The journey doesn’t stop here,” the Miss BVI Organization emphasized, calling for continued support from the BVI community.

They urged residents to “continue to support and cheer on Adacia as she represents the BVI on the global stage!”
