United States Virgin Islands Governor Albert Bryan has tested positive for COVID-19 following a recent trip in Washington, D.C.
This was confirmed by the U.S Virgin Islands Government House via their social media page on Wednesday April 20.
“After returning to the territory on Tuesday afternoon following a weeklong trip to Washington, D.C., and Miami, Governor Albert Bryan Jr. tested positive for COVID-19 early Wednesday morning, April 20, 2022,” the statement said.
It added, “Although he is fully vaccinated and boosted, Governor Bryan has continued the practice of also taking a COVID-19 test upon his return to the Territory since the beginning of the pandemic.”
