An estimated 44 vessels across five distinct categories took to the ocean on day 1 of racing at the 51st BVI Spring Regatta to compete in the Round Tortola Race for the Nanny Cay Cup on Tuesday.
At the close of an intense day of competition, Flying Jenny soared to victory in the CSA Division, while Allegra claimed the top spot in the Performance Multihull category. Paroma showcased exceptional performance to clinch victory in the Performance Cruising division, while Smash/Dreamweaver secured the title in the Bareboat class.
