Player of the match Sewkarran was in sublime form, leading his team with an impressive 125 runs from just 61 deliveries. His innings was studded with 11 sixes and 10 fours, showcasing a masterclass in power hitting and precision. Sewkarran’s explosive batting laid a solid foundation for the Cavaliers, enabling them to post a formidable score despite the efforts of Police bowler Collis Fraser.

Opener Kevin Joseph top-scored with 29 runs, but the lack of substantial partnerships and aggressive bowling from the Cavaliers hindered their chase. Jeeyan Dianarine was the pick of the bowlers for the Cavs, ending with 3 wickets for 15 runs from his 3 overs, effectively sealing the victory for his team.
Meanwhile, in a thrilling second game of the day, the Vikings edged out the VI Combined Renegades in a nail-biting encounter, securing a 2-wicket victory off the final ball of play.
