Young athletes in the British Virgin Islands are invited to take part in an exciting opportunity to learn from one of the territory’s most successful sports figures.
The BVIOC Athletes Commission, in partnership with the BVI Athletics Association, is hosting a workshop titled “Dream It, Do It!” with Olympian Adaejah Hodge as the special guest speaker.
Scheduled for Saturday, November 30, 2024, the seminar will take place at the Elmore Stoutt High School Lecture Hall, starting at 10:00 AM.
The seminar promises to be an exciting and educational experience, aimed at helping the next generation of athletes develop the mental toughness and determination needed for success.
Speaking on the initiative, BVIOC Athlete’s Representative Ashley Kelly said the focus is on key skills like goal-setting and resilience-building, providing valuable life lessons for young athletes aged 8–14 from all sports backgrounds.
Space for the workshop is limited to just 30 participants, so parents are encouraged to register their children early. The seminar is free of charge and includes lunch for all attendees.
Kelly encouraged parents to register their children for this special opportunity.
