Virgin Gorda United (VG United) secured a commanding 4-0 victory over Panther FC in the BVI Football Association National Football League last weekend, narrowly reclaiming the top spot in the standings.
The win places VG United level with Wolues FC at 26 points, though they have played one game more.
The match, held at the Virgin Gorda Recreation Ground on Sunday, January 26, saw an explosive start with Devante Samuel scoring in the third minute. Joel Mars doubled the lead in the 36th minute, sending VG United into halftime with a comfortable 2-0 advantage. The second half saw further dominance, as Jaadon Quashie netted in the 50th minute before Levon Williams sealed the win with an 80th-minute strike.

However, One Love United fought back, with Richard Morgan equalizing in the 50th minute before Francis secured the crucial late winner.
