AIRPORT TRAFFIC TO RETURN TO PRE-2017 LEVELS WITH INCREASE AIRLIFT

Passenger traffic through the airports of the British Virgin Islands (BVI) is set to return to pre-2017 levels by the close of 2024, thanks to a significant boost in airlift to the territory.

This projection was announced by Kurt Menal, Managing Director of the BVI Airports Authority, during a recent interview with 284 Media on Thursday.

Menal shared that the increase in air traffic is largely due to the commencement and expansion of services by several airlines, including Caribbean Airlines, LIAT 2020, Sunrise Airways, Tradewinds Airways, and WINAir.
