Can you social distance on an aircraft?
One airline company, JetBlue has included a social distancing in-flight plan amongst their changes to travel since the COVID-19 pandemic. JetBlue is putting space between its passengers.
In an effort to keep crew and customers safe and to reduce or remove any possibility of spreading the novel coronavirus disease, JetBlue will not be filling all of its flights to their maximum capacity.
On the JetBlue website, the company has indicated:
“In addition, we are creating buffer zones around all inflight crewmember jumpseats, to allow for added crewmember and customer safety.”
